    It did not work on plug and play basis. I downloaded the driver from D Link website and installed. It is slow on USB 2.0 port – max speed of 10 Mbps. But on USB 3.0 it reached the maximum speed of 60 Mbps of my fibernet consistently. Happy with the product.

    I came across a lot of wifi adaptor brands that just looked way to sketchy for me to even try. For just 500 more than those I got this one from a good brand that also makes great wifi routers (just FYI). Looks nice and cute, super simple to install and great speeds.

    Use driver updater software like e.g Iobit Driver Booster.It will install required updated drivers for your wifi device and then your system can easily recognize your wifi usb dongle and it will be super functional. Enjoy.
