Works well with Ubuntu. No issues what so ever just plug and play.
Very soothing on the eyes, I did not realise how much my previous 1080p 22 inch monitor was irritating my eyes, making me feel tired. Since switching the monitor I switched to the reading mode and have been using it since. It is really way better on the eyes.
Even small text now is easier to read using the same font size, the additional pixels make a lot of difference. After hours of usage I feel less tired.
I use a lot of large spreadsheets, it make a lot of difference to that.
I was really hesitant to pay the 15.2 k as compared to the 7k for a 1080p but it is really way better.
I don’t really like the price but the entire segment of 2k monitors is really much more expensive than 1080p. This is the cheapest I could find which offered a 3 year warranty.
Only down side is the customer care, which was attempting to fool me.
I was trying to swivel the monitor but it was not working (It only went about 5-7 degrees each side and stopped) so I called up customer care and explained to them the issue. I had seen swivel word int the title and a customer photo in the product reviews which showed the monitor turned 90 degrees.
The customer care rep lady took some time and then told me that this monitor only swivels that much and not any more. I was disappointed and looked at the listing again, which did not explain the swivel feature.
I did find that customer photo again and was intrigued. I looked up the monitor videos on YouTube and a youtuber mentioned to push the monitor up to max height before swivelling and I tried that and it worked. The customer rep’s response felt very unprofessional and probably attempting to cheat me.
Side note: The monitor only swivels right side(clockwise), when doing it towards the left(anti clockwise) the HDMI cord hits the stand and prevents it from going further(It could perhaps work with a L shaped HDMI cable). I am just happy it works one way.
In short the monitor is excellent, I hope it lasts, just beware of what you hear from customer care if you run into issues.
LG if you are reading this, you got an amazing product, but your customer care leaves a big gap in the appeal of your product. Lack of after sales service/shady customer care, is the only reason customers are going to run away from you.
Please also improve the description of the monitor to explain how the swivel feature works. It is not even in your product manual.
Amazon if you are getting this, please make these products returnable, it makes the marketplace less customer friendly when you make such expensive products replacement only.

I was using LG 24GN650 earlier with no issues & thought to have QHD in 24 Inch varient. After Lot of research I have come across this newly launched (Jan 2023) monitor and thought to give it a try without looking into any previous records of reviews etc; and being potential 1st one to buy this on amazon (No Reviews were there). This monitor has very sturdy stand and complete 360 rotation with ease. No Screen bleeding found (5-10% acceptable). Box came well packed. Unboxing and Setup was quick. Menu options are great too.
Who should consider buying this?
Ans: If you don’t want any Higher FPS and don’t play games and needed for coding and office, content creation then you should definitely consider this monitor as it gives crisp image and fine details of texts words images etc.
Image looks sharp and colour reproduction is very balanced.
I took it for content creation mostly documents and slides works with some PS Illustrator works etc.
Everything worked really well and no complaints at all. 22k Was a better deal.

If you are looking for Retina display equivalent at lower cost, this is the monitor to go for. Images and texts are crisp and contrasty than 1080 p monitor. 2K resolution is good for 24 inch monitor. However, for 27 inch, 2K resolution may not be enough. I miss one feature – auto brightness adjustment.

I must say its an excellent purchase – Monitor that suits the modern requirement of having USB-C type cable to connect to laptop which was my main criteria, which acts as a charging port as well.
They have also included HDMI cable along with USB-C cable in the box which is very good to connect to other devices as well. Only drawback is the mouse and keyboard connected to monitor USB ports are not recognized with of HDMI cable but works only with USB-C cable.

I bought this monitor during the Prime Day sale in July 2023. I use both a Macbook Air (M1) and an HP Elitebook from office. My requirement was simple, a larger screen to use for spreadsheets, PPT and some light entertainment. Bot my laptops have USB C ports and connectivity via USB C was a criteria (although low on my priority list, this feature has grown on me).
Connectivity via USB C: This monitor works as a hub as well, I have a wired keyboard (Amazon basics) plugged into the monitor and it works on both my laptops via the USB C cable. Similarly, I have a mouse dongle plugged into the monitor as well. I have a wired speaker (Alexa) connected through the 3.5 mm jack, the volume can be controlled through the monitor. This may not be important to a lot of people but I have some old tech which is functional and it all works perfectly. The connection via USB C charges both my laptops so this is another plus point, my charging cables don’t need to come out when connected.
Display: Its a crisp display with both my laptops and it runs 2650×1440 perfectly. I don’t see any blurring around the text and that’s an important feature for me while working on spreadsheets. I’m not a graphic designer or video editor so I can’t comment on how accurate the color reproduction/ representation is.
I have no use of rotating the screen but it works fine I tested it out. I like the height adjustability feature, it helps keeping a comfortable posture as per your desk and seating.
Overall: It works for me and I’m really happy with it.

I got delayed order but the packaging was good. Easy to assemble but it’s heavier than what one expect. I find 24 inch adequate for my use. The picture quality didn’t wow me as I am surrounded with good displays and black level was on the lower side but the display is consistent and no bleeding was noticed. Picture Quality is close to natural and 75hz isnt noticable, stand offers all sorts of adjustments. 2k is definitely needed as the text is lot more clearer. I played some single player games and enjoyed my time. HDR is joke and broghtness doesnot go as low as on might want.
For 15k I think this is a perfectly good monitor. It may not have fastest refresh rate or highest color gamut but for the price it offers what one need.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bad packaging, missing CD and felt like some one repacked a opened box
Coding: I wanted a monitor for strict coding work. I initially bought a 27″ 1080p monitor from a different brand, but the text was really bad on it and was getting headaches – may or may not be because of the bigger screen. So I downsized and bought this 24″ 2k monitor. Now the text looks very very good and no headaches also. I am happy and will give a perfect 10 for coding.
Usability: The type C hub, reduces wire clutter and also accepts wireless kb/mouse receivers. The height adjust and swivel is so easy to use. The power cable is normal and you don’t need an adapter. LG screen controls software is there, but you don’t need it as physical control is easy to use. There were no dead pixels during the test.
Gaming: I don’t game much, so not worried about no speakers, response time (ms), refresh rate(Hz), HDR etc which may or may not be good. This monitor has IPS, but I sit right in front and don’t care about viewing angles either.
Packaging: It looks like the box was earlier opened or as if someone hand packaged the items by taking items from some bins. The packaging covers had many wrinkles and appear used. The LG CD was missing. I felt like returning, but not doing so since this monitor is good quality, hope it stays so. My advice is you have a video recording during unboxing so that you have proof.
Retrospective: Seeing the text improvement from 1080p to 2k, if I had no headache, I would have tried a normal 32″ 4K (32UP550N-W) with split screen. In India, ultra wides don’t give 4k/type C at a reasonable price. For now, I extend the display with my laptop as a second screen.

2 HDMI and 1 Display port are 3 connections that can be used as required.
One downside I felt was the depth in blacks, it’s not noticeable from a distance with HDR ON, but on close up it feels grayish.

I bought this monitor mainly for coding purpose. I use it with both windows and linux, and it works well. Since it’s 24 inches so pixel density is good comparatively 27 inches 2k monitors. I bought the usb connectivity variant to make it work with MacBook as well without connecting any HDMI conver ter. The feature to turn it into vertical orientation is very helpful for coders.
